Installation with tapes and sound
For three days I was recoridng sounds encountered during while walking in
the Bronx with the purpose of visiting all sites that witnessed or were involved
in activities under Work Progress Administration in the 1930's.
For the presentation of the project at the Bronx River Art Center I transfered
the sound to cassette tapes and placed the spools according to their respective
WPA sites over the outline of the Bronx. Unwound tape connected the sites
tracing my walks twisting and turning around the pins on the map.
